Good Evening. Tonight, as Mechanics around the world, gather with their family and friends, I want to wish everyone a happy and healthy New Year.

This time of the year is always hopeful as we celebrate the end of one year and the beginning of another. While 2023 was difficult for many Mechanics, we must also look back on this year with the knowledge that brighter days are ahead of us and that although our challenges are great, each of us has the courage and determination to rise and meet them.

It is that spirit that has kept the Grand Council of the Independent United Order of Mechanics, Friendly Society of North, Central and South America, Island of the Seas and the entire Western Hemisphere, Incorporated Dream alive for generations, and it is that spirit that will keep it alive for generations to come.

As the Grand Master, Let me invite you, individually and collectively to include in your New Year’s resolutions, promises to show more love to your Brothers and Sisters, in actions, and not just words.

Let us promise to bring three (3) new members into our Lodges or our Chapters to ensure the longevity of our Lodges and Chapters and, eventually, the Order. With those promises, we can rest assured, that the independent United Order of Mechanics, Friendly Society, is well on its way to longevity.
